Ekadashi is a holy day for fasting and devotion in the Hindu calendar. Ekadashi is considered an auspicious day on which the gods descend to earth and bless their followers. Every month, two Ekadashis are observed, one during the waxing and one during the waning phases of the moon. During the month of Kartik, the most important Ekadashi, also known as the “Mukkoti Ekadashi,” occurs.

Celebration of Dashami 2023
Dashami is the name given to the tenth and last day of the celebration that Hindus observe. It is blown as a signal that a party or other joyful occasion has come to an end.
