The Ministry of Education has decided to introduce Balvatika classes in 50 selected Kendriya Vidyala schools in pilot mode. The new admission process will be started for Balvatika Class I, Balvatika class II, and Balvatika class III in particular KV schools for the academic year 2023-2024 in the last week of October 2022. Parents and guardians are advised to contact the nearest KV school and apply through the offline application form for getting Pre-KG, LKG, and UKG admission.

Documents to be attached to the registration forms are:
- Registration form
- Date of Birth certificate
- Social Category Certificate SC, ST, OBC-NCL, and EWS
- Residential Proof Certificate
- Blood group report
- Two Passport Size Photos
- Service Certificate (Government Employees)
- Duration of the school timing would be 03 hrs per day on a five day week basis
- Vacations and breaks shall be as per the existing schedule.
- Uniforms are not prescribed for these classes.
- The fee structure shall be similar to the existing class 1 and it will be collected through the UBI portal.
The RTE (Right to Education Act 2009) Admission lottery for Balvatika I will be published after the draw (Lots of Draw) lottery in the Notice Board of the respective Kendriya Vidyalaya school.

KV IIT Chennai Balvatika – 1 Admission Application Form 2023-24
The admission guidelines and corresponding application form for Kendriya Vidyalaya Balvatika-1’s 2023-24 academic session are now available for interested parties. Parents of prospective Class-I students may register their children during the specific dates provided below at KV I.I.T. Chennai, excluding working days. According to age parameters, the child must be three years old but not four years old by March 31st, 2023. AFS Yelahanka KV Balvatika – 1 Admission Application Form 2023-24
The enrollment process for Balvatika-1, intended for children between the ages of 3 and 4, has been announced by Kendriya Vidyalaya, AFS Yelahanka for the academic year 2023-2024. This procedure will take place between April 3-12, 2023, with the child’s age being determined as of March 31, 2023. Information regarding seat reservations in accordance with KVS Admission Guidelines 2023-2024 can be found on the school’s website, www.afsyelahanka.kvs.ac.in. KVS No 4 Tezpur Balvatika – 1 Admission Application Form 2023-24
A notice has been released by Kendriya Vidyalaya Tezpur No. IV pertaining to the admissions of Class BALVATIKA-I, BALVATIKA-II, and BALVATIKA-III for the academic session 2023-24. The school can be located within Tezpur University in Napaam, Assam (784028). Registration for these classes will commence from 03/04/2023 (Monday, 3rd April 2023) and will remain open until 12/04/2023 (Wednesday, 12th April 2023). To obtain the registration form, kindly visit the school office between 09:00 A.M to 02 :00 P.M. It is essential to complete and return the form before the deadline of 12/04/2023 (Wednesday,12th April 2023) while attaching all copies of the required documents as specified on the form. KV School No 2 Calicut Balvatika – 1 Admission Application Form 2023-24
Interested parents can now apply for admissions at Kendriya Vidyalaya No.2 Calicut Balvatika for the academic year 2023-24. The registration process is available offline and will be conducted from Monday, 03.04.2023 to Wednesday, 12.04.2023. Registration forms can be obtained from the Vidyalaya during working hours from 01.04.2023 to 12.04.2023, or downloaded from the vidyalaya website: no2calicut.kvs.ac.in. To complete the registration process, parents must submit the filled registration form and required documents before 3:00 PM on 12/04/2023. The necessary documents include a copy of the child’s birth certificate, caste certificate, residence proof, transfer records, and service certificate that has been countersigned by the appropriate authority. Furthermore, if applicable, a certificate confirming that the child belongs to OBC (Non-Creamy Layer)/BPL/EWS must be provided, which is issued by the relevant state’s competent authority.
KVS Dehradun IIP Balvatika – 1 Admission Application Form 2023-24
Admissions are now being accepted for the Balvatika-I class at the Kendriya Vidyalaya, IIP, Mohkampur, Dehradun for the upcoming 2023–24 academic year. From April 3 to April 12, 2023, during school hours, parents may submit applications for their kids. The application must be filed with all required documentation, including a birth certificate, caste certificate, residence certificate, etc. Also, there are seats available in Balvatika-II and Balvatika-III, and interested parents may apply within the specified deadline.
