KVS Summer Vacation 2023-24

The KVS Summer Vacation 2023-24 has been scheduled to facilitate the regional offices established in multiple cities. These cities include Agra, Chandigarh, Dehradun, Delhi, Gurugram, Guwahati, Jaipur, Jammu, Kolkata, Lucknow, Patna, Ranchi, Silchar, Tinsukia, and Varanasi. The summer vacation is going to start on May 8, 2023 (Monday) and will last until June 16, 2023 (Friday), which is a total of 40 days. Additionally, the autumn break has been scheduled from October 20, 2023 (Friday) to October 29, 2023 (Sunday), which spans for a duration of 10 days. Lastly, the winter break will commence on December 25, 2023 (Monday) and conclude on January 13, 2024 (Saturday), which is a total of 20 days.

The Winter Holidays for the year 2023-24 are all set to be celebrated in ten regional offices, comprising of Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Chennai, Hyderabad, Jabalpur, Mumbai, Raipur, Bhubaneshwar, Bhopal, and Ernakulam. To break down the vacation period, it will consist of three intervals: The Summer Break, which is scheduled to last for 50 days starting from May 2, 2023 (Tuesday) and ending on June 20, 2023 (Tuesday); The Autumn Break, which will span from October 20, 2023 (Friday) till October 29, 2023 (Sunday), and will last for 10 days; Finally, we have the Winter Break, which will be observed from December 25, 2023 (Monday) to January 3, 2024 (Wednesday), and will also last for a total of 10 days.

Winter locations (except Kendriya Vidyalayas of winter locations falling under the Dehradun Division):

The Kendriya Vidyalayas of winter destinations covered by Dehradun Division have officially released their holiday plans for the academic session of 2023-24. The Autumn Break is scheduled from October 20, 2023 (Friday) to October 29, 2023 (Sunday), which amounts to a total of 10 days. Summer Vacation, on the other hand, will commence from May 15, 2023 (Monday) and will go on until June 3, 2023 (Saturday), summing up to 20 days. For the upcoming Winter Break, the Kendriya Vidyalayas are expecting to commence on December 14, 2023 (Thursday) and end on January 22, 2024 (Monday), accounting for 40 days. Meanwhile, Kendriya Vidyalayas operating in Leh, Kargil, and Nubra (Ladakh) UTs have planned for an extended Winter Vacation starting from December 4, 2023 (Monday) to February 11, 2024 (Sunday), which will extend up to a total of 70 days.
