Benefits of Smart Card in CSD URC Canteen

All customers of the CSD URC are given a Smart Card for making purchases from the CSD URC canteen. When the Smart Card is inserted into the data provider, all customer details along with a list of items purchased since the card’s issuing date will be displayed.
Dependent (One) – Rs. 20,000
Dependent (Two) – Rs. 10,000
Liquor Card – Rs. 20,000

Limit for Grocery Items in CSD Canteen

Yes, there is a limit in place for purchases from the CSD URC canteen for all eligible customers on a monthly basis. The CSD has restricted the sale of 452 items on their ‘Restriction List’. SCPL categorized all items (including some grocery items) which cost more than Rs. 2000 as AFD-2 items.
