How to make payment online or offline in CSD AFD online portal?
You should know everything before payment in the CSD AFD portal: Payments must only be made from the beneficiary’s account. Payments from a third-party account will not be accepted, and the request will be declined by the depot. Cash transactions will not be authorized. Online payments are supported via the AFD CSD Portal Payment Gateway, allowing for credit/debit cards, UPI, net banking, and bank transfers.
Beneficiaries are only able to make payments from their own accounts by any of the listed payment methods. Any amount that is transferred from any account other than that of the individual will be considered a Third Party Transfer and can be rejected by CSD Depots.
If the cost of the AFD item exceeds Rs.10 Lakhs, the beneficiary will be given the option to divide the payment into two separate online transactions in order to circumvent the maximum amount limit imposed by SBI bank on net banking.
GUIDELINES TO MAKE ONLINE/OFFLINE/LOAN PAYMENTS – AFD PORTAL
The AFD Portal provides guidelines for making online, offline, and loan payments. Additionally, cash transactions will not be accepted.
CSD AFD Online Payment
The AFD CSD Portal has integrated a Payment Gateway that provides various modes of payment, such as Credit/Debit Card, UPI, Net Banking, and Bank Transfer. It is important to note that the beneficiary must make the payment from their own account using any of the above-mentioned modes of payment. Any transfer of funds from a third-party account will be considered as a Third-Party Transfer and may result in rejection by CSD Depots. Additionally, if the cost of the AFD item is above Rs.10 Lakhs, the beneficiary will be given an option to split the payment into two online payments. This option has been provided to overcome the limitation set by SBI bank on the maximum amount that can be transacted through net banking.

CSD AFD Offline Payment
If you choose to make an offline payment through the Bank Transfer mode for CSD AFD, you will need to download the e-challan generated by the Payment Gateway which contains a virtual Account number, IFSC code, and the exact amount to be deposited by NEFT/RTGS. The virtual Account Number consists of 16 digits, with the first 9 digits remaining constant, i.e., 222333154xxxxxxx, and the IFSC code is always YESB0CMSNOC.
To proceed with the payment, you can take a print out of the e-challan and visit your bank to request them to do NEFT/RTGS as per the details mentioned on the e-challan. It is important to note that each e-challan payment is only valid for one transaction. If the amount remitted does not match what is mentioned on the e-challan, the Payment Gateway will reject the transaction, and you will receive a refund in your bank account.
