The CSD AFD Team has taken numerous steps to make their website more user-friendly. Recently, they announced the re-approval of all registered customers and updating their profile details. After the completion of this procedure, customers will be able to purchase any item from this portal. New User Registration became active on 5th January 2023, with important changes made to the eligibility policies for buying items from this portal and increased cost ceilings for AFD-I items and retired Defence civilians.

The AFD CSD Online Portal website address is https://afd.csdindia.gov.in/. Users can access the ‘Shop Now‘ button, which will redirect them to the registration page at www.afd.csdindia.gov.in. Now, registration/profile updates are available 24/7. Maintenance work on the AFD CSD Online Portal was carried out in February 2023.
We would like to inform all CSD AFD customers that the images featured in the portal are not actual. If you wish to see the actual product and image, please visit the respective OEM’s website or dealers’ showroom. If an item/index is not visible in the portal, it is because the selling rate has not been submitted by the OEM due to changes in model/price/production issue, etc. Such items will be made available for sale when rates are received and updated on the portal. The registration process is simple! To help you register and login for the first time, here is a detailed step-by-step guide.
Step 1: Navigate to https://afd.csdindia.gov.in to access the website’s home page.
Step 2: To initiate the registration, click on “SHOP NOW”.
Step 3: Select “Not a member yet? Register Now” to create a new user account. Before starting the registration process, ensure that you have the following documents available: URC Grocery Canteen card, Pan card and a mobile number to verify via OTP.
Step 4: Make sure to enter the name, card ID and chip numbers as they appear on the Grocery card/Canteen card.
Step 5: Provide the mobile number for OTP verification and click “Send OTP” to continue.
Step 6: After entering the OTP, the approval process will begin.
Step 7: Upon receiving approval from the AFD CSD Team, an email with confirmation details will be sent within a week or sooner.
An essential requirement is that if the date of enrolment/commissioning is less than five years old, then the user is not eligible to make any purchases through the AFD CSD online portal.
